Adopt With Us

Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet through Big Easy Animal Rescue! This application process ensures that our animals and humans are perfectly matched. Our top priority is the safety and happiness of our pets.

All applicants must be 23 years of age or older.

Adoption Process

Application Review

It takes us 2 to 7 days to thoroughly review your application, so thank you in advance for being patient. Once we have completed our due diligence, we will contact you at your application’s email address and phone number. Any missing or incorrect information on your application will further delay this process, so be as accurate and complete as possible.

Meet & Greet

Assuming your application is approved, we will work with you to arrange a time and date to meet your chosen pet.

Foster Period

You will have a 1-week foster period to live with the animal in your home before formally committing to the adoption.

Adopt!

If the pet is a good fit, you may move forward with formally adopting. If not, you will return the animal to us without asking questions.
